drifting, alignment, side panels

sorry for lack of updates, it's summer and my cars out, can you blame me? been cruising around just driving, feels good.

Well on tuesday Jason came by the shop and helped me cut the rear panels so that I can put my cage in with full interior. Well after a lot of measuring, swearing, more measuring we got it! Looks pretty good for the first time trying to drill some holes. We also bolted in the cage, and damn did it make a difference, car is so quiet, and there's no more clunking or rattling. I love it!!

The next day was the first drift practice of the season, I was soo pumped to get out there. Me and Jack were the only Drift Squad members out there, but it's all good, still early in the season. Cody let me borrow his 350z drift spares, and after throwin them on, I went for my first run. Race City infield, is the worst track, BIG potholes everywhere, uneven pavement, being as low as I am just doesn't work well. I ended up bending my passenger side tie rod into almost a 45 degree angle. ON MY FIRST RUN. Damnit, went out one more time, but decided not to risk it cause I needed to get home still hahaha.. well with what I felt from the 2 runs I got it, I've gotten a little bit better, my transitions need more work, but that's what practice is for right! I'm too pumped, cause next practice hopefully Cody's gonna be out, and Drift Squad is show hard!

Fixed my tie rod Friday, and got an alignment from Tom yesterday. My first ever alignment in my history haha, I was pretty excited, the right toe was at -3 degrees! He got them too spec at -1 degree. Also got my camber to -1 on both sides! Looks so good, and actually drives so good. My steering wheel is straight!! I'm so jacked haha.

Well I gotta order my Ikeya Formula tie rods, and some RUCA's so I can get my camber to -1 at least. Pulling of the rears woohoo I can't wait.

I'll get pics up asap
